Nationwide insurance was covering the damages caused by my bathroom ceiling collapsing due to a water leak from an upstairs tenant. The adjusting agent came out and inspected damages. I cleaned up the extensive mess - 50 pounds of plaster from a 3 foot hole - should have hired workers. Carried down 3 flights of stairs - 4 hours work. He agreed to compensate - less deprecation - for towels, bath mat, personal items, (this was a leaking toilet over years) of $50. Cheap BUT. Now nothing. Repair is done but personal property loss NO. Get everything in WRITING. Will not respond now.
